1st Day | First Half
Place we cover: Gangotri
According to Hindu legends, the most sacred of all rivers, Ganges (or Ganga), descended from heaven to earth at Gangotri, when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from his locks. The actual origin of the river is at Gaumukh in the Gangotri glacier, 19 km away from Gangotri and is accessible by trekking.

Place we cover: Yumnotri
Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River and the seat of the Goddess Yamuna in Hinduism. It is situated at an altitude of 3,293 metres (10,804 ft) in the Garhwal Himalayas in District Uttarkashi. It is one of the four sites in Char Dham pilgrimage of Uttarakhand. The sacred shrine of Yamunotri, source of the river Yamuna, is the westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas, perched atop a flank of Bandar Poonch Parvat. The chief attraction at Yamunotri is the temple devoted to the Goddess Yamuna and the holy thermal springs at Janki Chatti (7 km. Away).

Place we cover: Gaumukh
Gomukh is mentioned in the Puranas. It is said there that, searching a lost sheep, a boy reached near a glacier in Gangotri, the snout of which exactly looked like the face of a Cow, and thus it got its name 'Gomukh' .

Place we cover: Maneri Dam
The Maneri Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Bhagirathi River located at Maneri, 8.5 kilometres (5.3 mi) east of Uttarkashi in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, India. The primary purpose of the dam is to divert water into a tunnel which feeds the 90 megawatts (120,000 hp) run-of-the-river Tiloth Power Plant.

3rd Day | First Half
Place we cover: Viswanath Temple
Sri Kashi Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest and most sacred of temples in Uttarkashi, situated on bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple offers the spectacular view of river Bhagirathi along with the surrounding mountains. Due to its popularity it is also the part of many Char Dham Yatra Itineraries, which helps pilgrims to visit this temple along with the famous Char Dhams.

This place attracts many visitors during winter as this place receives good amount of snowfall.This place attracts many visitors during winter as this place receives good amount of snowfall. It's also a gateway to Nachiketa tal which is just 3 km distance from here. Wonderful place for outing. The roads are narrow but in good condition. This is another route from uttarkashi to Tehri.
