Place we cover: Santoshi Mata Mandir Dhari Devi Temple
Santoshi Mata (Hindi: संतोषी माता) or Santoshi Maa (संतोषी माँ) is a Hindu goddess, who is venerated as "the Mother of Satisfaction",[1] the meaning of her name. Santoshi Mata is particularly worshipped by women of North India and Nepal. A vrata (ritual fast) called the Santoshi Maa vrata performed by women on 16 consecutive Fridays wins the goddess' favour. Once the temple was washed off by floods and the idol of Goddess Kali struck against the rock. The villages of the Dharo village nearby heard the divine voice of Goddess and then fixed the idol of Goddess Kali at this spot. After then this temple is known as Dhari Devi temple.

Mary's Church is a popular tourist attraction of Lansdowne and was built by Col. A.H.B Hume of the Royal Engineers. Construction of this Church began in 1895 and was completed in 1896. This church was closed after 1947 and was later converted into a museum by the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre.
