Place we cover: Auli Ski
Before it was a full-fledged ski resort, Auli was the training ground of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, which tested its strength and valour against the tough and unforgiving landscape and climate. The popular Trishul peak (23,490 feet) is the scene of an unusual expedition that took place here in 1958.

Place we cover: Trishul Peak
The Trishul crest is formed by the three Himalayan mountain pinnacles of western Kumaon. It stands 7120 meters tall. The Trishul aggregate forms the southwest corner of the pinnacle ring that surrounds the Nanda Devi National Park.
